SSBC Alor Setar has been actively collecting recyclable items every week. On 22 March 2019, 15 SSIO members joined hands to sell the recyclable items and thereafter channelled the funds received towards noble deeds such as helping needy families in our monthly loving care programme and also aid to fire / flood victims plus to many needy individuals who need to buy medical appliances such as lens for cataract patients and subsidy to undergo surgical operations.

Extending aid to flood victims

Besides being a service activity, the collection of recyclables also focuses on creating awareness among residents nearby to donate items such as old newspapers, preloved clothes & furnitures etc.
