Welcome to the registration for the Bhaja Govindam Gurus’ Training Workshop.

This full-day workshop is specially designed for Group 3 SSE gurus and aspiring gurus, focusing on the SSE Syllabus covering 16 selected slokas from Adi Shankara’s Bhaja Govindam. The program aims to deepen participants’ understanding of these verses and their relevance in spiritual education today, empowering gurus to confidently bring their teachings to life in the classroom and daily living.

Through this workshop, gurus will be guided to explore the 16 verses from Bhaja Govindam that were lovingly selected by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself during the “Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality” for students in 1973 at Brindavan, as compiled in Summer Showers in Brindavan 1973.

Gurus will:
- Understand the deeper meaning and message of these sacred slokas
- Learn proper chanting techniques, rhythm, and pronunciation
- Apply the verses meaningfully in teaching and in daily life
- Inspire SSE Group 3 students using practical examples and real-life connections

The day will include prayers, background sessions on Adi Shankara, reflections on Sathya Sai Baba’s perspectives, and discussions on the relevance of these slokas for SSE Group 3 students. Gurus will take part in chanting demonstrations, sample lesson plans, and hands-on teaching practice to build confidence and clarity. The workshop will conclude with guru pledges, aarti, and fellowship over meals and tea breaks.
